Looking up

I was rather uninspired today as to what to photograph, so I ventured outside to see if there was anything interesting. I went out to sit in the flowerbed beneath my favorite tree and started to take pictures of the flowers and leaves. After a minor freakout due to a spider crawling on me, I realized that the typical flower/leaf pictures were not turning out very well. So, I decided to try a different angle.

I liked how the sun was coming directly through the tree's leaves above me while also lighting up the small yellow daisies. I noticed, also, that the light really enhanced the venation of the leaves. The answer to my photography woes, therefore, was to take a picture looking up. The result was this, and I was fairly satisfied with it.
